A Hand-Lettered T-Shirt
The Project
- The first ever project I created as a designer. The goal was to create a t-shirt with a punny joke by manually drawing the type to then digitally add to a t-shirt mock-up.
- With my pun being science themed, I wanted to create t-shirts aimed a school-aged kids to ignite an interest in STEM subjects using two different color palettes, dependent on the child’s choice of colors.
- I like looking back on this project as at the time doing the design, it seemed like an enormous amount of work to manually draw type, then transfer to a digital state to work with in Photoshop for the first time. It would be interesting to revisit this project again after a few years of experience as a designer to see how differently I may approach the project.
