Uluru
A Travel Brochure
The Project
- A double gate fold travel brochure featuring Uluru, also known as Ayer’s Rock, in the Northern Territory of Australia. The brochure was aimed at art loving travelers by depicting the natural beauty likened to painted landscapes.
- Photoshop filters were used to achieve a paint effect over real photography. Along with this effect, I also incorporated the general shape of Uluru with the inside copy and image on the back.
- This was the first time I had worked with the double gate fold format. While this proved challenging, I approached the design across multiple panels, designing the front & back as one, the gate fold panels as one and the inside as one whole design. This was completed in Photoshop and InDesign only, as I had yet to start any training in Illustrator.
